E=MC2 stands for Malaysians Can Change for a better Environment.
I know the acronym isn't exactly ordered, but life is never simple, isn't it? :p 

It's an Inter-varsity society that has environmental issues at its heart.
Currently it comprises of UM, UKM, and USM, and hopefully more will join us!

It was established on a Sunny day in June, at (of all places!) Burger King KLCC.

It's the brainchild of Yeong Yze Shiuan from UM, whom we owe lotsa thanks!
She brought together 14 people who were passionate about the environment -including A Japanese girl and a representative from the Ministry of Environment and Resources!
After an hour of sharing and caring (with some tasty snacks from Japan!)... we were officially BORN.


E=MC2 UM has been very active, with a car boot sale, an ecofilm festival, and a competition titled "When I Was Young" under its belt. (missed the competition? Not to worry, we will showcase their entries during our Carnival!)
Oh not forgetting this cooool Flash Mob Freeze Event!

E=MC2 UKMMC however has just oiled its engines and this is our first programme!
So please do support us and if you are a representative from any university in Malaysia whether public or private,
do contact us if you're interested in joining E=MC2!
